We left NZ on the evening of May 29 and landed in London at midday on May 30.

We caught a bus from Heathrow to Brighton, arriving about 5.30pm. We walked along the seafront to our hotel, had a much needed shower then a quick dinner before catching some sleep.

Of course, having gone to sleep at about 8pm and with the time difference we were awake by 4.30-5.00 am. Luckily it’s summertime and it’s light pretty early so we went for a walk along the seafront and had a look around Brighton.
